This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am incredibly passionate about my students and their potential to grow both personally and collaboratively. Each one of them brings a unique perspective and a strong desire to learn. By providing them with the resources for our esports team and gaming club, we are not just giving them tools for gaming—we are offering them the opportunity to learn teamwork, build discipline, and explore the world of technology.

These students have a deep desire to work together, compete, and push their skills to the next level.

The gaming PCs will allow them to engage in both casual play and esports competitions, helping them develop critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills in real-time environments. The mechanical keyboard and wireless gaming mouse will enhance their performance, teaching them about precision and the impact of quality equipment on their success.

The silent dual-mode wireless mouse will offer students the flexibility to create a more comfortable, quieter setup for those who may find a quieter environment helps them focus. The Klein Tools Circuit Breaker Finder and Tracer Kit will introduce students to hands-on technical learning, allowing them to explore electrical and IT-related skills, expanding their knowledge beyond gaming.

The gaming laptop will offer mobility, making it easier to host events, work on club projects, and ensure that all students have access to the tools they need, regardless of location. This collection of resources will help us create a space where students can connect, learn, and grow, all while doing something they’re truly passionate about.

By building this esports team and gaming club, we’re not just creating a place to play — we’re providing an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills, teamwork, and real-world technical abilities that will set them up for success beyond the game.
