Not Just a Decoration...Carpets Are a Critical Component to Learning!

My Project

In a primary classroom, a classroom carpet is an essential gathering space for nearly all of our learning. Unfortunately, with covid, classroom carpets have not had a place in our school for the past two years, and that has resulted in a need for a new, clean gathering space.

I have 20 students who are readers, leaders, and high achievers!

On this classroom carpet, my students are able to comfortably collaborate, build relationships through games and community builders, engage in rigorous math talks, participate in high-interest read alouds where each of my students is represented, and so much more!

With your support, I will be able to develop my students gathering space into one where they are once again excited to work with one another comfortably, and in their own personal squares!
