Not Afraid to Play!

Help me give my students a set of Omnikin 6 sport balls for learning multiple skills utilizing age appropriate equipment in modified non intimidating team activities.

My Project

My students will first practice basic manipulative skills in non-game situations such as: striking, kicking, passing, shooting, dribbling, catching, and throwing. As students progress, they will use the Omnikin balls in modified game situations, such as: give and go, pass and follow, monkey in the middle, and 5 catch with defense. The objective is to have students progress so they can play team handball, big ball basketball, big ball soccer, volleyball, and slap ball.

Omnikin balls are like training wheels for a bike.

Most kids start with training wheels on their first bike and then progress to not needing training wheels. Age appropriate equipment is very important to the success rate of students. Omnikin balls will make my students feel successful and have fun in quality physical education. Omnikin balls will be used to teach many physical education objectives, and will give my students one ball with many, many, many purposes.
