NOOT Headphones For Distance Learning!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

These little learners are so sweet and eager! My students are English language learners. Many students in my class have never been in school prior to this year. They are logging in to our classroom virtually daily and ready to do their best during these uncertain times. They're brave and are a true inspiration. They are the reason I smile daily with their adorable writing pieces and messages they leave me on a daily basis. Reading at home gives students more of an opportunity to explore new ideas, dive into new worlds, and experience a different life. An opportunity to provide reading materials to enrich my students’ learning is one of my top priorities especially during these uncertain times with distance learning.

The students come from diverse backgrounds and economic status.

Many of these students are reading below grade level. Then, there are those students who need to be challenged. These students need more enriching pieces of literature to maintain that joy of reading within the classroom that their parents have created from early childhood.

My Project

This is a very new way of learning. These headphones will help my students focus and stay engaged through distance learning. My students are learning in a way that is very different than while they are in school. They are using technology for all of their daily assignments. They watch daily videos and attend Google Meets to help make connections to the new material they are learning.

Noot headphones are amazing, and these headphones are what we use in the classroom.

It would be amazing for them to have something they are familiar with, too, at home.

I am requesting 25 headphones that I will be able to deliver to my students. Having the headphones at home will help them stay focused on what they are listening to and keep out outside noises. These headphones would really benefit all of my kindergarteners while they are home!
