My Students
My happy and kind classroom is full of second graders who have such imaginative and creative sides. They are full of energy and love for others and learning. They are working on developing independence and responsibility in 2nd grade in our room.
I have a great group of students currently in my classroom who come from a variety of life experiences and opportunities.
The majority of my students are on free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast with limited experiences.
My Project
Will your generous donation you will open the door to a world of nonfiction text for my second graders. This text set allows for a wide range of readers all while teaching and introducing information about topics that hold the interest of my students.
Nonfiction text can be a challenge for many early readers due to the nature that most children are read fiction growing up but have less experience with nonfiction text and the text features found in nonfiction.
Will this collection the range of reading difficulty is wide enough to reach each level of reader typically in my classroom but also provide exposure to new text and topics in a engaging way. Thank you for considering a donation to my student library and more importantly thank you for considering in helping impact the learners in my classroom this year but for many years in the future.
