My Project

I have several students this year who are SUPER interested in nonfiction texts. After being an Educational Technology teacher for 15 years, I focused my growing library on more STEAM-related reading materials that could lead or guide hands-on projects. Therefore, I am struggling to put books in their hands that are of their interest and in their zone of proximal development. My goal is to provide non-fiction books for daily reading that is on my student's emergent reading level, in order to increase their interest, engagement, and success.
