Non Fiction is Needed Now!

My students need 4 leveled non fiction book sets.

Non fiction has never been so needed! I am a first and second grade teacher in a classroom full of thriving, determined, and motivated readers. We are in a high need, low income community...but that hasn't stopped us!

Since the first day of school, books have been in high demand! These aspiring readers will read anything they can get their hands on. Unfortunately, the selection is minimal. Non-fiction books are especially scarce.

We need non-fiction books that are written at a level appropriate for 1st and 2nd grade. We need them to focus on a variety of topics so we can study the structure and features of non-fiction. Non-fiction books will create the ultimate 'reading to learn' environment in our classroom. In addition to reading, your donation would build a solid foundation for our non-fiction writing unit! We will study each author's techniques and specialties so we can model our own writing after these non-fiction authors.

Your help will ensure that we have the necessary non-fiction resources to continue our journey as life long learners. You will support our love of reading and our thirst for knowledge with your generous donation!
