This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

More and more studies show that children respond to the facts and real-life topics found in non-fiction. Think about it, our youngsters are always asking questions. They are thirsty for knowledge and looking for answers to explain the world around them. So, let's support them!! These new, fun, non-fiction books will guide our children to discover the real-world connections from page to life. The texts in these books will support new vocabulary and interesting facts as our young readers get to investigate and find the answers to all of those budding questions in their minds. This is why it is so important to have them in our library! Now we can support new vocabulary and the real-world connections made through reading non-fiction texts.
