My Project

I have almost 70% of my students in my classroom who speak another language at home. Most of those students speak Spanish. Some of them arrive in my classroom fluently speaking both Spanish and English, but a lot of them speak very little English.

I want my Spanish-speaking students to feel safe in my classroom and like there's a place for them here.

A section in my classroom library filled with Spanish books will help students feel more comfortable.

I also want to motivate my students to practice what they're learning at school at home. I do this by providing homework and a class store for students to shop at when they complete their homework. The fidgets I've asked for will be in my class store.
