My hardworking scholars will soon be working even harder during state testing days coming up in the spring. I want them to have the ability to fully focus on their academic tasks at-hand, and not worry about the rumble in their bellies!
Some of our precious student population relies solely on the food provided by the school to sustain themselves; this should not have to be an issue, especially on testing days!
Our students deserve to have the opportunity to focus fully on their studies and doing their very best on assessments. This is an incredibly difficult objective when they are feeling hungry. Having plentiful snacks on-hand allows them to put their full attention to the activities happening in the classroom, particularly during long days of testing.
