Long story short, the STEAM Lab needed to move locations. We were previously in a dedicated bungalow and now are needing to move to a space that has partial openings to two other classrooms. We have additionally added a preschool class to the learning space, so we have the STEAM Lab, preschool, and 2nd grade all in one pod classroom area.
The STEAM Lab is a very busy and noisy environment, and we don't want to be the "noisy neighbors." Adding this moving partition to the classroom would assist in curbing sound, add privacy, and help to reduce the stress over having loud activities in the classroom that might disturb others.
We can also use the partition as an extra display space in the classroom.
