This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me give my nonverbal students some noisy books to help increase their verbal output! I am the SLP at an elementary school that serves many nonverbal or limited verbal skills.
These books will be used during speech therapy to help increase student interaction and interest in books and sounds.
The books will also be used to help teach my students about cause/effect. I will be able to pair these books with the lessons their special education teacher is working on, while also using some simple nursery rhymes to help engage and encourage communication for all my students.
