Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class loves doing a lot of hands-on and collaborative activities. Though they love the leveled differentiation of work presented to them, usually noise becomes an issue due to the various activities that each student group is working on.
I believe providing my students with access to noise-canceling headphones will help in their overall participation and engagement in class.
In addition to the noise-canceling headphones, the hat rack organizer will help to serve as an organizational tool so my students can easily access and store their headphones.
Finally, many of my students come from lower-income households, and so hunger is a constant issue in my class. That is why I would love to start a class pantry so I can have snacks available to those students who may have not had breakfast that morning or lunch for the afternoon.
