This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are some of the most awesome and hardworking kids I have ever had the privilege to teach. Each day, they come to class ready to tackle new challenges and push themselves to grow. Whether mastering foundational skills in Lexia or advancing their understanding in IXL, they bring energy and enthusiasm to every goal they strive to achieve. Their resilience and dedication inspire me daily, and I am committed to ensuring they feel recognized for their incredible efforts.

"Effort deserves acknowledgment, and hard work should never go unnoticed." Just as adults are motivated to meet goals by tangible rewards like a paycheck, students thrive when their perseverance is celebrated in meaningful ways.

Incentives give students a sense of accomplishment and a reason to continue striving for excellence. By providing small rewards for reaching their academic goals in Lexia and IXL, including yummy treats, small toys, and fun pens, we can create a system that mirrors real-world values and inspires lifelong habits of determination and success.
