My Project
Our students are severely cognitively impaired and they love to come to music class. We are constantly searching for instruments to use in the classroom that are safe to the students. Because many items end up in the mouth or thrown on the floor by the students, it is improtant that they are sturdy and safe.
I can be confident that our students will not get splinters with these selected instruments.
They will be safe for our students to use with or without Paraprofessinal guidance and give students an opportunity to experience music making safely. It is such a joy to see their faces light up when tapping or rubbing sticks together. Imagine the excitement when they feel the viration of the guiro and shake the sturdy and colorful shakers.
