My Students
"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
The students I teach are so excited to experience the process of making and creating art that they hardly notice they are becoming artists themselves. They are excited to learn new skills and experience materials that are new to them.
My Project
Can you remember the excitement when the art teacher would take out the watercolor paints in the art room? Because of the pandemic, there was a shortage of watercolor paints. Now when we come back to school. there will be no watercolor paints in my classroom at all! How can this be? My students will not be able to experience the joy of learning how to use watercolor paints in their artwork! I can’t imagine an entire school year without watercolor paints! Please help my students experience the joy and wonder of using watercolor paints in the classroom!
