Help me give my students the fuel they need to get back into sports. My students need Gatorade along with a Gatorade cooler to stay hydrated while running. Healthy snacks to keep the energy flowing.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Some of the students in my class struggle with a learning disability which does not hinder them from performing and learning the materials being taught. They feel inspired, determined, and always ready for a new and engaging challenge. These students are very cooperative, respectful, and willing to improve their academic achievement. Even though some may not have the best penmanship or the greatest reading ability, they still put forth maximum effort in order to succeed. These students are primarily from homes where English is a second language so they have to overcome that language barrier.
My students are not as fortunate as others.
Sometimes they come to school without the necessary materials and supplies needed to begin working because they cannot afford to purchase these things. My school demographic population is comprised of 97.6% Hispanic students, and 98.8% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
The majority of my students are hands-on learners. I have to keep them actively engaged and focus throughout the day with different activities to meet their learning styles. They are so appreciative of everything we do within the class no matter how big or small the task is.
My Project
My students just started the school year and sports is back!. They are excited to get out and compete with fellow classmates. Due to a lack of funding, we do not have the resources to provide snacks for the students. My goal is to provide each student with a healthy snack and keep them hydrated during practice and when we compete.
Due to the pandemic majority of my students spent the last year and a half learning from home with minimal access to the outside world.
Now that they are back in the school building they are ready to get involved in extracurricular activities.
The materials requested will provide my students with a healthy snack and hydration during practice and on game day. The students will be more excited to attend practice knowing that they will have a snack to eat after putting forth the effort and time.
