My Students

My students are eager to learn, but unfortunately, they do not have the full support to be able to thrive. They go through dramatic events both at home and school but they are special in their own way. My students are in an urban, city neighborhood. The school is a tier-one school with a lot of the students having issues with their academics.

My Project

This project helps my students who have issues with having food at home. Even though the school provides breakfast, there are a lot students who do not get to school on time and are unable to get anything to eat. This project provides those students with something to eat so that they aren't learning hungry. Since our lunch period is so early, by the time school is over, they are hungry. This project helps with letting them a little snack before they go so they aren't going home hungry. The items in this project are also good for rewards or for breaks when testing.
