My Project
We spend our days in first grade learning to read and write. There’s so many new skills that we acquire throughout the year and we work hard to master them and show them off!
Our desks, however, have seen better days.
They are all set at different heights and can no longer be adjusted due to stripped out screws. This makes it hard to put them together for a collaborative environment. Many of the desk feet have been broken off due to their age, so they are wobbly and don’t sit flat on the floor. I would love to give my students a nice, new desk that is the perfect height for their growing little bodies and won’t wobble while they work. This project is one of 5 that I’ve written in order to do just that! With your help, all my students (current and for many years into the future) can have a new desk that will help them master all the things we work on daily without the worries of wobbling!
