My Project
Unfortunately, we experienced a water break that resulted in the destruction of our classroom library. I would love to replace our broken bookcase, add a cozy little rug to our nook, and provide additional seating options. Additionally, I would like to freshen up our book selection to encourage independent reading and introduce students to a range of genres, topics, and experiences.
Our library should contain books for multiple reading abilities, student interests, and reflect diverse and inclusive texts.
I believe surrounding students with a full library of books helps pique their curiosity and reinforces our class as a reading community.
Having a classroom library establishes the importance of reading and provides access to great books. A proper space for our books is essential for fostering their love of reading and learning.
