Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been teaching third or fourth grade now for about eleven years. The saddest thing about it is that all the indoor recess games I have for my students are from my first year teaching.

My goal is to turn our rainy day misery into a sunny outlook.

They will be able to pull out an assortment of activities that they can play with their friends. This is something that is valuable because way too much of our time is on technology and I want them to still socialize during this time.

Another part of my project are the prizes. We have a class store that my students are able to shop at using the tickets the school gives out for behavior. I am hoping to replenish my stock to help keep motivation up during our harder months. The harder months are the months where we don't always get that burst of fresh air. Kids need that and so do I. Help turn the misery to a sunny outlook.
