Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love to teach the Gulfton community children. They are well behaved and use manners. More than 90% of these kids are economically disadvantaged. They are new to a lot of things such as a tablet. Each year, each student is required to participate in different research projects that require technology to help them such as History Fair or Science Fair. We also have them practice typing. If each child has access to a tablet, they will be more successful.
My Project
Donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also help them increase their academic achievement by experiencing more visually with empowering pictures. Most of my students are visual and there are not enough computers for them. The old dinosaur computers sometimes do not work. It will be nice to have more reliable technology like the requested tablets to support their learning. Moreover, with your donation, they can research projects such as science fair or history fair.
My students are excited to explore new technology to help them accomplish their goals.
