This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love to teach the Gulfton community children. They are well behaved and use manners. More that 90% of these kids are economic disadvantage. They are new to a lot of things such as a tablet. Each year every single student is required to participate in different research projects that require technology to help them such as History Fair or Science Fair. If each child have access to a tablet, it will be more successful due to lack of computers.
My Project
Tablets will help my students finishing projects in a faster manner. When research projects come around, these tablets will definitely help speed up the process. In 5th grade at my school, each child is required to present one project for History and Science Fair. I'm requesting 6 tablets because I have 6 tables. Each table gets one tablet and students take turn. I will be walking around to aid the students. At the same time, I will teach them how to use the tablets. With these new tablets, I'm sure they will be very excited and eager to learn. I thank you in advance for your donation.
