My Students

Our smart and engaging students are interested in expanded opportunities. They want to explore their ideas with hands-on projects that allow them to develop and solve problems in a way that reflects the nature of such context in real life. Our students only see possibilities in the world despite the many obstacles they face outside the classroom. Our students are bright, engaging, clever and believe in themselves. As their teacher, I am committed to providing them with unlimited opportunities to have fun.

My Project

Next school year my classroom is going to look incredibly different. We will no longer be able to share art supplies and students will have to have their own items to work with. This structure will severely limit our ability to do some of our favorite projects but we will persevere because we are creative. In addition to the basic supplies, crayons and markers that I know my students will have, I want to make sure that they will all have their own brush for paint and permanent marker for outlining designs. The tin foil will allow us to all do print making as they are pre-cut and can be disposed of easily when the students are done. The model magic will allow us to still make 3D art. It’s great for quick projects and comes in individual packages. Our art room is going to look incredibly different next year but the one thing that will not change is my students' ability to have fun and use their amazing brains to create.
