My Project
Since COVID, it has been a challenge each year to teach PE at our school. We've had to distance ourselves for 2 years. Our locker rooms were being rebuilt. But is now in litigation 2 years later. Next, our gyms were condemned. It rains a lot, and we had only our small pavilion or sidewalks to do PE. We finally got a tent to do PE outside, but it floods terribly making it unsafe.
Despite all of those obstacles, our students were able to adapt and make the best of what we had.
Many of them understand what it is like to have very little. If we are able to get funding for the items requested, I know our students will be grateful and continue to learn in Physical Education. We would like to give our students every chance to learn. Hopefully, someone can give them that opportunity!
