Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are Transitional Kindergarten ages 3-4 in a elementary school setting. These snacks will be available for any students in my classroom that need one. This could be due to not being able to afford their own snacks, giving a little extra effort at lunch activities or PE, or just not having had time to get enough to eat at home or at lunch. My goal is that no student should go hungry. In my first year i had homeless, foster and in a low income household. I have experienced students that do not eat.
