My Students
My group of kids is energetic and excited to hit the diamond. They love baseball and have a lot of fun playing and competing. They are motivated to push themselves to reach their highest potential this year. I have different kids ranging from grades 9-12 but they all will benefit from this project. They can't wait to come to practice and work on drills to improve their skills. I am so excited to see them live physically active and healthy life.
My Project
By receiving donations our team will be able to receive 3 sets of weighted training baseballs. These balls will help our team build batting strength when hitting. This way we'll be able to drive baseballs into the outfield when hitting. Our baseball team is a young team that is still trying to get stronger and making solid contact when hitting. We'll also be receiving a pop-up net that we'll be able to hit into to decrease our ball retrieval time and increase our hitting repetitions, therefore maximizing our practice time throughout the week.
