This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are increasing their love for learning. Our school is a Title I elementary school. They are striving to learn new skills every single day. Technology has been a major component of their daily learning and they are experts at navigating through websites.

The headphones that I am requesting will help my students to focus and strengthen their skills, at their own level, as they navigate through Math, Reading, and Enrichment programs.

By providing each student with their own headphones, they will be able to really focus without having to lower the volume in their Chromebooks, which will allow them to fully listen to the instruction being given and lead them to mastery of content.

Not only, will these headphones be beneficial with independent technology use, they will also be beneficial when they use tablets during our reading rotations.

Today my students, tomorrow our leaders. Not only am I preparing my students for the next grade level, but I'm also preparing them for the future. As an educator, I want my students to excel in all that they do, even in technology.
