My Students

Our students pride themselves on being the creators versus just being consumers of technology. Our students are the innovators of tomorrow. Our students embrace The Engineering Design Process in all of their core content subjects.

Our staff does an amazing job of constantly pushing our students to take what they learn in the classroom and apply those lessons to the real world.

We are a STEAM Academy and our students embrace and represent all that is great about STEAM!!! Bringing Nintendo Labos into the classroom will have a lasting impact on our campus for years to come.

My Project

Students in 1st through 8th grade will be using the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Labo sets to create a culture of gamification in the classroom. The students will playing and creating games with cardboard creations, working together to solve complex problems, and navigating in virtual reality. This project will also support our esports club we are starting at our school. Students will be playing Rocket League and learning about all of the different opportunities available to them through esports. The focus of this project is to enhance all of our students soft skills (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Perseverance & Problem-Solving).
