This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Here at our Title I school, we have students who come from all types of demographics. They come to school every day and we strive to give them the best education possible. Through our electives, we introduce them to all styles of fine arts, encouraging them to try something new. Our students are extremely hard-working and innovative.

They persevere through some of the most difficult situations that can cause even the strongest adults to struggle.

Because of this, we try as hard as possible to bring to them as many resources as possible. Even though we want to give them everything imaginable, in my program, there is no budget allotted for simple items including costumes, props, and scenery.

We are in dire need of articles of clothing and accessories so that students can make the characters in their upcoming play come to life. These items will be stored for future uses and can be utilized in more than one way for more than one costume.

We rely on the kindness of strangers to help make this program as successful as humanly possible.
