My Project

Our class is in desperate need of a class set of Night by Elie Wiesel. This memoir is a beautiful and heartbreaking account of Wiesel's experiences in a concentration camp with his father. It deals with topics of human loss, family, and faith. In our world today, many people are losing their ability to empathize with another human being. Memoirs like Wiesel's make that attitude almost impossible, as it is difficult to maintain that attitude in the face of his trauma and commitment to come out the other side a stronger and better man.
