My Students
First, my students are the kindest and caring students, they have always offered to help others, even though most of them do not come from much themselves. My students are attending an urban high school and travel as near as five minutes and as far as an hour to attend. My population of students is diverse. I teach the 10th-grade global (world history) course as well as the advance placement United States history course. My students' abilities range from a third-grade reading level to a college reading level. My students sometimes are not able to afford the basic school supplies and I am always spending money out of my own pocket to provide those for them. With the active virus and the movement to online learning, I really need your help!
My Project
These materials will help my students to reach their basic needs of being in the classroom. We will need more toner to print out the work of the students and the paper to print it out on. The other materials are there to have on hand with the project-based learning we do in the classroom. The materials will help bridge the gap of the socio-economic status' of the students in the classroom. We need help with the next year's budget cuts for the classroom supplies. Any little bit helps, thank you.
