This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are the 2018-2019 Middle School Robotics and Engineering Class. We are a direct result of the funding from Donor's Choose and the 5th grade Robotics class(Fantastic 21). It was so successful that the school wanted to extend it to the middle school. We are a creative group of 28 students. We set goals in order to take personal responsibility for our education as individuals and a class. Most importantly, we know that STEAM education is a necessity and it should be fun!

Our big wish is to learn to code​ in C, build robots and compete in regional and national Robotics competitions.

It’s time to show ourselves, our community and the world that we are a 21st Century school!

My Project

We will use the How to Code: A Step-By-Step Guide to Computer Coding, Engino Structures Constructions & Bridges Discovering Kits, Simple Machines, and our Chrome Books to explore and learn how to be STEAM experts!

It's a 21st Century STEAM World and we want our brains engaged and our hands busy with coding and building!

As middle school students this our chance to be proactive and also to begin with the end in mind and learn all we can about robotics and engineering. Many of us have aspirations of careers in STEAM fields! We don't want to wait! WE WANT TO BE GREAT NOW!
