My Project

Our Middle School eSports program brings together a diverse group of students, including athletes, musicians, high-achievers, and those with IEPs. This program provides them with a space where teamwork, strategy, and problem-solving come to life through gaming. eSports isn’t just about playing—it’s about collaboration, critical thinking, and perseverance, skills that translate into academics and future careers.

The items we’re requesting—controllers, charging docks, storage cases, and a copy of Super Smash Bros.

Ultimate—are essential for our students to fully engage in this experience. With additional controllers, more students can participate, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to play and learn. Charging docks keep our equipment ready, minimizing downtime and maximizing practice. The travel case allows us to keep everything organized and protected, whether we’re practicing in the classroom or competing in an event. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is not just a game—it’s a tool that fosters teamwork, quick decision-making, and sportsmanship.

Our goal is to make eSports accessible to all students, providing them with an engaging way to build problem-solving skills, resilience, and leadership. This program fosters a sense of belonging, allowing students from different backgrounds and abilities to work together and support each other.

Our students are special because they bring unique talents, perspectives, and determination to everything they do. This project will give them the tools they need to grow, compete, and succeed—not just in gaming, but in life.
