My Project
I am a teacher in a fifth-grade classroom. My school is a Title I school in Southern Oregon. My students come from all different backgrounds. Their unique makeup requires me to think out of the box when teaching new, possibly difficult skills. Improving reading skills in fifth grade is one of those difficult skills.
Receiving the necessary supplies and materials needed to get creative with my teaching will help prepare my students to be as successful as possible.
My students love to learn about the world around them! Who doesn't? They are curious kids, after all. I would like to encourage them to continue to read and learn as much as they can about current events. Unfortunately, it is sometimes difficult to find interesting magazines they can read independently and learn about these things. This is why I (and they) love Scholastic Magazines so much! Please help me provide them with the knowledge that will pave the way for a brighter future. I have used Scholastic Magazines in the past, and they are a great resource for every reader.
