This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a humanities teacher who really values social studies to learn about the world around us. Next year I want to explore more current events alongside the work we are doing. I teach ancient civilizations and the industrial revolution and we are always seeing patterns between how people use to live and how we live now.

My goal is to use the Time Magazines to incorporate current events into our class and help students make connections between the past and present.

I think it is so important to understand the connections and for your own options about the world we live in.
