Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our newcomer English Language Learner population is increasing in numbers and we are in need of additional resources and activities to support our students with limited English. Their needs are unique in that they are learning both the language and the content, so small group instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension is crucial.
These hands-on activities will allow our students to develop and maximize skills with vocabulary and fluency.
They will provide a safe environment for developing and practicing English language skills with a variety of activities
The goal is to support our students with the development of foundational skills and target instruction to support and differentiate student needs.
