This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will greatly help me get the new year started with my first graders. Very little supplies are given at the beginning of the school year that my class needs. We use crayons, glue sticks, and dry erase markers almost every day and 3 months into the year I am already buying more for my class because we go through them so quickly! Also, because this is only my third year teaching I do not have a lot of toys for my students to play with. They would be so excited to play with magnetiles and the marble building game. Both are great, thought provoking games for my students to engage in!
My goal is for my students to start the year with success!
My students LOVE coming to school each day and I know they will be so excited to have their own pencil boxes filled with supplies on the first day of school!
