This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I'm requesting will greatly enhance our classroom environment and have a significant impact on my students' learning experiences. A functional wall clock will help not only myself manage my time, but be a resource for my students when they are learning how to tell time. A calendar pocket chart will teach them about dates, days of the week, and be a great display of the date and events for the month. The magnetic whiteboard rod will make it easier to display the date. A comfortable and inviting rug will provide a cozy space for group activities and discussions, fostering collaboration and engagement. The TP tent will be used for socio-emotional regulation and provide a place to calm down privately. The magnetic whiteboard rod will make it easier to display the date. The erasable highlighters and compact mirrors are essentials that I use every year to promote reading and speaking skills.

My primary goals for this project are to create an organized and engaging learning environment, enhance student participation and interaction, and promote self-management and responsibility.

These tools will help me establish a well-organized classroom that supports various learning activities, making it more comfortable and visually appealing for my students. This, in turn, will motivate them to participate and engage more actively in lessons.

My students come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to our classroom. Despite facing various challenges, they demonstrate resilience and a strong desire to succeed. Providing them with these resources will not only support their academic growth but also nurture their individual talents and strengths, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning community.
