New Year, New Supplies

Help me give my students tempera paint sticks, air dry clay, and supplies for our sewing and weaving lessons.

My Students

My students are leaders in their community. We are a Leader in Me school, where we all practice the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (really there are 8) every day to set goals, achieve them, and be successful citizens. We are also a magnet school for visual and performing arts, ensuring that all of our children receive arts-based instruction every day.

Most of our students are labeled as Title I and at-risk with a low socioeconomic status, and are minorities.

Basically, they don't get enough of most things that they desperately need. Lots of them have experienced too much failure and people who have let them down. But we don't let excuses get in our way!

My Project

This order has a lot of items that help round out projects that we have coming up in art class during the early spring.

We will use these materials during sewing, weaving, sculpting, free choice sessions, and more!

Students will use the cookie cutters during our sewing lessons as the outlines for their tiny pillows. They will stamp the outline, cut, sew, and stuff them. The air dry clay will be used as a clean and easy material for sculptures. And we always need more paper towels around the art room.
