This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am going into my third year in kindergarten! I love the different dynamics of a kindergarten class. These little learners are so sweet and eager! My students are English Language Learners. Many students in my class have never been in school prior to this year.

I try to make learning fun and memorable as kindergarten sets the tone for their first educational experiences in a school.

We learn through hands-on activities, games, and a lot of movement! My students love to learn in new ways and enjoy being a part of a small group where skills are broken down for them to be able to understand and master the skill.

My students come from very diverse backgrounds, and each has their own unique learning styles. We love to read and write when we're together. Sometimes I, as the teacher, need to think out of the box on how to approach new topics so that my students can understand the teaching point.

My Project

These supplies will help my students get off to a great start to the new school year. Many of them are unable to bring in basic supplies from home.

This will also help me to support my students by giving them what they need in order to learn to the best of their ability.

With the upcoming school year approaching, it is evident that if we are going to be face to face, we will be required to wear masks. Please help me provide disposable gloves for my students. Also, I am requesting reusable masks for the days someone may break theirs, forget it or it gets dirty.
