New Year, New Supplies

Help me give my students new supplies, markers, pencils, tissues, wipes and copy paper to be able to start the new year with a clean slate!

My Students

This is my third year at a high needs school in the School District of Philadelphia. Our school is located in a high poverty area; therefore, we do not have as many resources and supplies. My students come to school to feel safe and learn. The home life that most of my students live is not easy and they have to worry about when they will eat again, where they will sleep, etc. This project would help my students be able to learn in an environment where they can forget about what is going on in the outside world and feel safe and enjoy school. These supplies will add to our classroom and make them excited and eager to learn!

My Project

My students and I are looking forward to the new year. We want to make sure we have a fresh start. Many of our supplies ran out already and we need these supplies, markers, crayons and pencils, to be able to learn more and be successful this year! We hope we can get these supplies to replenish our classroom to be able to participate in all activities with the right supplies.

The tissues and wipes within this project will help us stay healthy, keep our classroom clean.

With the copy paper, we will be able to print our center activities for reading, math, science, and social studies. The teachers of School District of Philadelphia are only given a limited amount of paper for the year, so this really helps both the students and teachers prepare for everything!
