This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In addition to checking out books, the school library is also a great place for learning! Our lessons teach students how to use the library, the differences between types of books, how to find books they enjoy, and help them develop a love of life-long reading! However, the library could use some basic supplies to teach these lessons.
A rolling white board will save space, as well as cut down on paper usage for group lessons that get repeated through multiple classes.
With no wall space to mount a white board, this is an ideal solution. In addition, general supplies such as markers, index cards, and new shelf labels go a long way to making the library more fun, educational, and user-friendly.
