it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials and supplies on this list will allow me to get a fresh new start as I embark on a new teaching experience. The South Side has always been home, and I am looking forward to contributing to a community that has already given me so much. This project includes supplies, flexible seating options, and a printer.
Moving to a different school is like moving to a new home: challenging but ultimately rewarding and exciting.
Help me make this classroom a welcoming and productive environment for my students.
The supplies on my list include essentials such as pencils and highlighters. While times have changed, these materials remain important for effective learning. My previous school taught me the importance of flexible seating to increase student engagement, encourage collaboration, and give students the autonomy to work in a comfortable space of their choosing. Last but not least, I need a printer. A printer will allow me to provide high-quality instructional materials, make necessary modifications to support my students' learning needs, and publish my students' work within the comfort of our own classroom.
