Help me give my students a new classroom space filled with learning materials such as a rock collection a compost container, flashlights, and styrofoam balls for a moon phases project as well as classroom decor and rewards.
The materials and supplies that I am requesting are ready to utilize in my new classroom in a new district. After teaching 19 years in my old district and am starting from scratch again. I need bright and colorful motivation posters for my classroom, this is the first time in years I have not shared a classroom with another teacher so this is exciting! I need materials so that students can make the various moon phases in a cardboard box. I need rocks and minerals so that students can test them for their properties. The see through compost bins will allow students a firsthand look at how materials are degraded in soil at different rates or not at all!
I also need student rewards that I plan on using for a reward system for classroom management.
