This past year, many donors funded a project, allowing me the opportunity to fill my classroom with many more books of high-interest, engagement, and diversity. The students have been loving them and are just as appreciative as I am, but there is one small issue: we are running out of space! This project is going towards a more organized, neat area that students can easily see and access some of their favorite texts. I am hoping that not only will the space have a better appearance, but that it attracts students who may not already have an interest in reading. By searching and spinning through the shelves, its almost as if they are shopping...searching for something that looks interesting to them that they may end up really enjoying!
