My Project

The first days of back-to-school can truly set the stage for the entire school year with students. And read-aloud books are a perfect way to get to know one another, encourage class discussions, and figure out which values will define my class’s identity.

These back-to-school books will provide the print-rich classroom that I strive to create AND teach my students the skills needed to have a successful school year!

All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind! I chose books that depict characters that not only look like them but characters that have similar feelings. Students will be able to hear these books read aloud, which will help them see the characters as real people.
