This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With a new school year comes a need for new books! Please help us update our classroom library with a variety of new genres and popular books. Books included in our wish list vary from nonfiction to books in verse to historical fiction and graphic novels. The books include diverse characters with diverse conflicts so that all students are able to see themselves within a story and see how characters like them are able to deal with their problems.
As a new group of students get ready to enter my classroom, I’m getting ready to create a classroom environment where books rule to hopefully create a fresh group of life-long readers!
