It's back to school time. Students are full of mixed emotions, some so excited to get back to the routine of seeing classmates and teachers, some just wanting more to maintain the freedoms of summer. It's time to reunite with old friends, meet new teachers, meet new classmates, and build a learning community where each student can grow and flourish this year!
There is no better way to build classroom community than reading books together!
This set of books mixes humor and seriousness as we examine exactly what we want our classrooms to look like, sound like and feel like. Teachers will use these read alouds in their classrooms to spur discussions in building a strong community for a great school year. The books will then be available in the school's library for students to revisit time and time again!
