I teach in the Chicago area and have 22 little minds that I dedicate myself to every single day. I am a second year teacher and could not be happier with the career I chose. My students are rambunctious, hard working, and hungry for knowledge. My students love to go above and beyond for all assignments and show great perseverance while learning. These kids continuously put a smile on my face and are the reason I want to get up and go to work everyday!
My Project
My 5th grade students have been learning about important people and events in literacy, science, and history. I want my students to begin to make connections between what they are learning in class to what they are reading and researching independently.
The "Who Was" and "What Was" series is the perfect way for students to be exposed to new information that they can connect to our goals in class.
I would really appreciate your help in making my classroom library more advanced and suitable for my students interests and needs. Thank you for your support! I can't wait to see my students excited about reading!
